Design

Created in Adobe Illustrator.

Visual poet

Every image deserves a story behind it.

As a copywriter with a background in poetry, I’ve carried my metaphorical thinking into visuals that speak. My design and illustration work go beyond creating beauty — every choice is anchored in emotion, clarity, and intention. I bring the same attention to detail to images as I do to words, blending both to craft work that’s cohesive, layered, and deeply felt.

Testimonial

“The growth I’ve seen from you is astounding. I 1,000,000% trust you with design and rarely have edits for you these days! Your ideas are so creative and you just really GET the design principles and color balance. That’s innate design stuff that not everyone has.”
— Taylor Bassett, Senior Designer at Butler/Till

My work

Digital ads

My portfolio showcasing designs for an ad,

Created a familiar scene for users to connect with, with recognizable textures and planning materials. This makes B2B marketing feel approachable and human. The elegant, minimal approach reduces cognitive load for users, with typography highlighting the most compelling parts of the messaging.

Color theory: Navy blues bring sophistication and trustworthiness, while yellow and orange bring warmth and energy.

My role: Set the tone strategically, verbally, and visually, leading the project from start to finish. Writer, designer, and illustrator. Because I understand both sides of copy and design strategically, the visuals support and reinforce the messaging.

Major win: 0 design edits from leadership.

Deck design

LinkedIn banners

LinkedIn banners, designed for a recruitment effort to show off my workplace.

Created during a recruitment project to give Butler/Till employee-owners banners to show off the company and inspire other people to get curious about joining. A Senior Designer at BT, Meeka Baxter, used the banner on the bottom for her own profile.

Color theory: Orange, yellow, and bright blue bring energy, optimism, and warmth. Navy blue makes the work feel professional. Playful patterns make the workplace seem inviting and fresh.

My role: Designer.

Let’s talk copy

My background in writing and written communication makes me a stronger designer. The whole time I’ve been growing and learning in design, I’ve also been studying copywriting, brand identities, and subtle nuances in tone. I’ve continuously sharpened my foundational creative skill.
